‘LIVING CHURCH of GOD’ – Is it?

On Saturday 19th March 2016 I ‘happened’ upon a TV broadcast being shown on FREEVIEW channel 74. It was called ‘Tomorrow’s World’ and the presenter spoke for the best part of 30 minutes on the subject of ‘The Anti Christ’.

He was very clear in his presentation which was slick and professional including various graphics and scripture references However, I sensed that ‘all was not right’ as he repeatedly made reference to the ‘keeping of God’s law’. Now, please don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying that Christians shouldn’t live in accordance with the precepts of God’s moral law – after all God has ‘written’ that on the hearts and in the minds of true believers (Hebrews 8:10 and Hebrews 10:16) but as we live out those moral precepts we demonstrate evidence of having been saved, we are not obeying in order to be saved.

CARL LENTZ: HILLSONG NYC: ‘Take Heed’

CARL LENTZ of HILLSONG NYC is the subject of a very helpful article for which I will give the link. This man is DANGEROUS to the cause of the Lord Jesus Christ as you will discern from the excerpts of interviews he has given on a number of occasions.

One of those interviews is with Oprah Winfrey and in the earlier interview segments Mr Lentz reminded me of someone who is now a close friend of Ms Winfrey, namely Rob Bell – why does Mr Lentz remind me of him – for these reasons – (a) when asked a question he uses lots of words but never really addresses the issue clearly and authentically biblically, he’s like a bar of soap in the shower, he slithers about and (b) at the conclusion of his interview he goes on and on about ‘God’ and ‘love’ and of course that was the dominating theme of Rob Bell’s book ‘Love wins’ that basically promoted unscriptural and heretical universalism.

In recent times, no less a person that Benny Hinn’s nephew, COSTI HINN has been telling of how he used to work for a time for his uncle’s‘ministry’ (as a ‘catcher’).

However, following a genuine conversion, Costi eventually disassociated himself from the teachings of ‘Benny Hinn Ministries’ (and other like-minded ‘ministries’). Recently he has spent time giving interviews and telling of how he came to that point and he has been graciously, but resolutely exposing the unbiblical nature of what is taught in ‘Word of Faith’’ circles.

On Monday 12th March 2007 I gave a talk to an assembled meeting of Presbyterian Ruling Elders from various congregations in Co Antrim in Northern Ireland. I chose to speak to them on the subject of ‘Islam’ as of course the Islamic presence in Northern Ireland is growing steadily. In November of this year (2008) I was once more in the company of one of the elders who had organised the invitation for me to speak and he told me that in the wake of my talk he had received a phone call from a female ‘ruling elder’ that had been in attendance at the meeting. She wanted to express her concern at the approach I had taken in my talk and felt that I was suffering from and promoting Islamophobia.

EVOLUTION: Rejected by God’s Word

My finalisation of this article is very timely in the light of a programme being broadcast on BBC 2 television this very evening. It is going out at 9.00 pm and is titled ‘The Day the Dinosaurs Died’.

In the listing for it we read ‘Documentary examining the asteroid strike 66 million years ago’.

In a separate write-up promoting it we read ‘’What really caused dinosaurs to disappear from the face of the earth, 66 million years ago? In this documentary, Alice Roberts and Ben Garrod catch up with an international scientific expedition that is revealing startling new evidence about one of the most mysterious vanishing acts in our planet’s history’.

The BBC are of course the consummate cheer-leaders for ‘Big-Bang’, ‘Old-Earth’ and ‘Evolution’ (annoyingly at our expense) so don’t be expecting any support for the truth of God’s wonderful 6-day creation as revealed to us in His Word, the Bible.

One of the ‘gaps’ to date on the ‘Take Heed’ ministry web site has been any meaningful reference to the subject of ‘BAHA’ISM’ so with this article I hope to rectify that situation. The format of the article will be firstly to give a link to an informative documentary dating back to 1985.

There are two aspects of the documentary that I have specifically identified. There is ‘Persecution’ and that highlights the terrible persecution that Baha’is had to endure in the aftermath of the 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran that deposed the Shah and saw the return to the country and to power of Ayatollah Khomeini. ‘EUCHARISTIC MIRACLE’ in Amsterdam?

Many years ago, friends and fellow-contenders living in The Netherlands sent me videos of a large 1998 gathering held by Rome in Holland to celebrate ‘Mary: Lady of all Nations’. This is just one of the many baseless and unscriptural titles ascribed by the Roman Catholic religion to Mary. In this article, I want to focus upon a claimed ‘Eucharistic Miracle’ that is detailed in the opening portion of the first video and so to begin with here is a link to enable you to watch that portion of the video –

Having watched the video, you perhaps now understand why I included the phrase ‘Hard to stomach!’ as a subtitle to this article. This supposed ‘miracle’ centres totally around the claim that a sick man, who had received a Roman Catholic ‘consecrated wafer’, later vomited it up and, despite having been thrown in the fire, it refused to be destroyed but instead was ‘reconstituted’ and ‘danced’ above the flames of the fire next morning.
