On 10th January I received an email from local Ballynahinch pastor, Tim McIlwrath, inviting me to come to his church to address the subject, as he put it – ‘Should a born-again Christian be a member of a secret society’? The focus was predominantly going to be on ‘Freemasonry.’ I did explain to Tim that it had been quite a few years since I had spoken on the topic but I was very willing however to accept the invitation.
