Towards the end of that article I wrote the following – From my own perspective there were 2 points in particular that were noteworthy. Bearing in mind that Mr Keller is supposedly coming from a ‘Reformed’ position
(1) He supports ‘Theistic Evolution’ and
(2) He regards favourably the heretical teachings of Ignatius Loyola, the founder of the Jesuits whose aim of course is to reverse The Reformation and restore the Universal Rule of ‘Mother Church’ and that cause has been greatly helped by the election of the first ever Jesuit Pope earlier this year.

LONDON – Less than a year after announcing her support for same-sex ‘marriage,’ a UK-based worship artist whose songs are sung in American churches on any given Sunday has come out as a lesbian.
Vicky Beeching first was introduced in the Christian music industry in 2002, but became more prominent with the release of her worship album Yesterday, Today and Forever in 2005. The release featured songs such as Above All Else, Great is Your Glory, Search Me, and a new take on the hymn Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus. She released two additional albums in 2007 and 2010, co-writing the song Glory to God Forever with fellow worship artist Steve Fee and touring with the band Delirious and singer/songwriter Rebecca St. James.
The real truth concerning Cecil UKIP and Revelation TV
In recent times a document has been posted online that has sought to discredit myself personally and ‘Take Heed’ as a ministry. It has been penned by a group that claims to be Christian and to have a love for “truth” and in it they have sought to use their understanding of God’s “truth” to undermine my own Christian testimony and witness. In this article I shall address two issues mentioned in their document, namely, what they had to say about my connection to UKIP (United Kingdom Independence Party) and my appearance earlier this year on Revelation TV.
Turning first to UKIP this is what they wrote in their document –
In a communication posted on his website back in June 2006 Mr. Andrews made the following comment to a Mr. Wilkes, I quote “Mr Wilkes has sought to somehow align me or identify me with a fraternal and a political dimension, both of which I have studiously avoided being involved with as I believe the ministry of ‘Take Heed’ is best served by TOTAL SEPARATION from any such involvement”. Mr Andrews has obviously had a miraculous change of mind and it is unbelievable that Mr Andrews is associated with a worldly political party, UKIP to be exact.
Is Paul Lutton a ‘Lover of The truth?’
Today I received copies of ‘Bible Study Notes’ issued by a man called Paul Lutton who has a ministry called ‘Lovers of the Truth’.
In these notes he deals with 3 topics –
- What is the soul?
- What happens after death?
- The rich man and Lazarus of Luke 16
The conclusions he draws in respect of the 3 topics examined are best summarised by the following portions of his ‘Statement of Faith’ –
· We believe that God is the only being in the universe who has immortality, believers will not receive it until Christ returns.
· We believe that man is a living soul (being) and not that he has a living soul (being).
· We believe that all the deceased are dead and await resurrection. Those who are his will be raised at his coming,, and those who are not will be raised to stand before the Great White Throne judgement.
· We believe that all Christ rejecters will have their part in the lake of fire, this is not hell but the final destiny (the second death) of all unbelievers.
FALSE “REVIVAL ‘12”?: Robin Mark and Nicky Gumbel
The Belfast Telegraph of Saturday 16th June 2012 carried an advert for “Revival ‘12”: ‘A celebration of music and faith’ to be held on Friday 28th September in The Odyssey, Belfast. It is being organised by ‘Revival Network UK’ and features musician Robin Mark and the man most associated with The Alpha Course, Nicky Gumbel.
As I write this article the Roman Catholic ‘World Eucharistic Congress’ is coming to an end in Dublin and Nicky Gumbel was an invited guest speaker at a pre-Congress meeting where he spoke on ‘Communion in our Common Baptism’ – based presumably upon the section in Vatican 2 that states in the “Decree on Ecumenism”, Chapter 1: paragraph 3 “in subsequent centuries… large communities became separated from full communion with the (Roman) Catholic Church… However one cannot charge with the sin of separation those who at present are born into these communities and in them are brought up in the faith of Christ, and the (Roman) Catholic Church accepts them with affection as brothers. For men, who believe in Christ and have been properly baptised are put in some, though imperfect communion with the (Roman) Catholic Church” – in response let me say loudly and clearly – I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and I have been ‘properly baptised’ in accordance with what the Scriptures teach and I am most certainly NOT in any sort of ‘communion’, imperfect or otherwise, with the Roman Catholic Church and furthermore no true Christian is either.
THE ‘VULGAR VISIONS’ OF MARK DRISCOLL
Just about 9 months ago Belfast was gearing up for the visit of Mark Driscoll to be the headline speaker at the annual MANDATE men’s conference. As early as May 2009 I had posted a warning article highlighting in particular the lewd language used publicly by Mr Driscoll on a number of occasions and I also mentioned his participation in the planned November 2010 conference in Belfast.
SHANE CLAIBORNE
A large advert appeared in the Belfast Telegraph of Saturday 13th August 2011 for meetings scheduled to take place the following weekend, 19th-21st August. The headline speaker was listed as Shane Claiborne and I recognised that name from my previous research into what was called ‘The Emerging Church’.
In the light of the short time between now and the upcoming meetings I’m posting this brief article to expose some of the problems associated with ‘the ministry’ of Shane Claiborne.

These revolutions truly have NOTHING to do with “democracy”! “The concept of western-style democracy in the region is laughable, and has virtually no historical precedent, except in Israel. So, when the governments of the US, UK, and EU demand democracy in Egypt, it is the ultimate in hypocrisy and a gross ignorance of history…. Even a cursory review of Middle East history – for, say, the past 2000 years – will show that democracy is a concept that is completely foreign to the Middle East (because of the mindset of the people). It will not work and has never worked there – just as it has never worked in most of Africa.”1
The menace of ‘CHRISLAM’
Any notion that God’s people are at liberty to seek to fuse together genuine worship of Him with any form of pagan worship is utterly rejected and prohibited by God in His Word. As Joshua was nearing the end of his life he addressed the people of Israel and their elders and said to them “Be ye therefore very courageous to keep and to do all that is written in the book of the law of Moses, that ye turn not aside therefrom to the right or to the left. That ye come not among these nations that remain among you; neither make mention of the name of their gods, nor cause to swear by them, neither serve them, nor bow yourselves unto them. But cleave unto the Lord your God, as ye have done unto this day” [Joshua 23:7-8]… “Now therefore fear the Lord and serve him in sincerity… And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve… If ye forsake the Lord and serve strange gods then he will turn and do you hurt… Now therefore put away said he the strange gods which are among you and incline your heart unto the Lord God of Israel” [Joshua 24: 1-23].
